I have as manager-for-hire or project manager established companies, developed organizations or restructured ongoing ventures in Asia and Europe. Working on practically every market of economic importance in Asia with five years in China has given me both the practical experience as well as a broad overview.

I have a Master´s Degree in Business Administration from Lund University in Sweden which I have complemented with additional studies at the University of Copenhagen, Sorbonne in Paris and Sophia University in Tokyo. After studies I held managerial positions at IKEA, Swedish Match and Skåne-Gripen, where I was in charge of production as well as marketing, setting up companies as well as evaluating ongoing businesses for acquisitions.

The last decades I have worked as an independent in the same fields and with similar responsibilities for a number of industries. I have over time also given an increasing number of lectures and held seminars related to themes discussed in the book and outlined on this site. I lecture and hold seminars primarily in English or with English material often with far-reaching adaption of content depending upon the situation and the needs of the audience. It may be to give an updated market overview to a board or management group. It may be part of a training day or as preparation for a planned or ongoing expansion in Asia. It may be coaching of a team getting ready to establish a business in Asia.
